After you have completed all of your chapters and their corresponding quizzes, you will gain access to the final exam. You can take the final exam as many times as you would like or need to. Once you pass the final with a 70 or higher, you will have access to the Proctored Exam. This is a second, shorter final.
Before starting the exam, your proctor will fill out a form attesting to your identity and that you are taking the exam closed book.
You'll need to provide a form of I.D. to the proctor to verify your identity. Accepted I.D. types include: Passport, State Issued Drivers License or Identification Card.
Proctor – A proctor is a disinterested third party, with minimum age of 18 years old who can be any person except for family members or individuals who have a financial interest in the student’s success on the exam. Examples include friends, neighbors, librarians, and co-workers. Co-worker proctors must not be above or below in the student’s line of supervision.
Closed Book - You will not be using notes, course materials, or any sort of aid during the testing process.
While it may seem intimidating, don't be afraid of the Proctored Final Exam. It is just like the Final Exam you just passed. You know the materials!
Remember, if you do not pass the Proctored Final Exam, you can retake it without penalty.
